Thunder Rolls To Victory!

The Thunder got back on the winning track Friday night beating Waukesha Black 10-3. Blake Hall started on the mound and went three sharp innings. He allowed 2 runs while striking out 4. He was follwed by Logan Chesak and Cooper Schlosser who each pitched two innings. Logan gave up one run while fanning three and Cooper gave up 0 runs while striking out 3 as well. The game was close until the fourth when the Thunder plated four runs. Blake Hall started things with a hit and Mason Kirk and Nick Sterman each reached on an error. Sam Geldnich followed with a bunt single and all runners advanced on the throwing error. Riley McClarran then had an rbi groundout and Jordan Schommer a sac fly to put the Thunder ahead 7-2 and they would never look back. It was a well played game all around. Great pitching and defense was superb once again. The Thunder had 7 base hits for the game. Sam Geldnich had 2 hits while Cooper Schlosser,Juan Gurrola,Blake Hall, Nick Sterman, and Logan chesak each had one apiece. The team will look to extend the winning streak next week as they play the West Bend Warriors on Thursday at Riverside Park and then return home to play New Berlin Magic on Friday.
