The Thunder extended their winning streak to 4 games with an amazing 7th inning rally to top a very good Menomonee Falls Gray team 11-10. The Thunder were leading 4-3 in the 6th when the Falls scored 7 times to take a 10-4 lead. The Thunder would score 1 run in the bottom of the 6th and then the fireworks began in the bottom of the 7th. Sam Geldnich walked to start the inning and then Jordan Schommer reached on an error. Mason Kirk and Logan Chesak followed with consecutive walks scoring a run and the bases were still loaded with no outs when Daniel Jones ripped a 2 rbi single to cut the lead to 10-8 and still nobody out. After a wild pitch cut the lead to one, Riley McClarran and Matt Geldnich both walked to reload the bases, bringing up Cooper Schlosser. Cooper was hit by the pitch forcing in the tying run and the bases remained loaded for Blake Hall. With two strikes, Blake ripped a sharp single to left to bring the Thunder all the way back for an improbable win. What a comeback!!!!!!!!! The boys never gave up and the fans were loud as ever !!

The Thunder were lead at the plate by Blake Hall who was 3-4, Daniel Jones was 2-3 with 3 rbi, Logan Chesak and Mason Kirk were both 2-2. Riley McClarran and Cooper Schlosser each had 1 hit apiece. Every Thunder player reached base in the victory. On the mound, Logan Chesak pitched 1 inning followed by Daniel Jones who went 3 strong innings allowing only 1 run. TJ Simpson finished up going the final 3 frames and getting the win, striking out 6. This was a total team victory and a great confidence builder for these kids.

The team resumes play this weekend in the Slinger tournament. They play at 8:00 am on Saturday vs. Pewaukee. Hope to see all you great fans there and Go Thunder!!!
