Thunder Advances To Semi Finals Sunday

The Thunder had to play three games Saturday afternoon in the West Bend Father's Day Classic and they responded well with a huge victory over Mequon Heat Red in the Quarterfinals. The day started out vs. Mequon Heat Red in the the last pool play game and Mequon beat the Thunder 11-1 to earn the overall #1 seed in the tournament. With the loss the Thunder had to play an extra game to reach the Quarter Finals. They played the West Bend Bulldogs in the round of 16 and won 13-3 in four innings. With the win the Thunder had to play the #1 seed Mequon Heat Red for the second time today and this time the Thunder responded with a huge 13-6 victory. The bats were hot and the pitchers really stepped up. Cooper Schlosser started and went two sharp innings, allowing 0 runs. Jordan schommer followed with two solid innings and Blake Hall finished up going the last two. The Thunder continue play in the Semi Finals Sunday at 10:15 vs. Waupun.
