Thunder Rallies for Three In The 7th To Tie Muskego

The Thunder came out swinging Tuesday night and put up a six spot in the bottom of the first to take an early 6-0 lead. But Muskego would rally with some clutch hitting and defense. They hit two Home Runs over the fence and eventually came all the way back to take a 11-8 lead into the bottom of the 7th. But the Thunder didn't go down easy. They rallied for three runs to tie the game and with the time limit up, the game ended 11-11. It was a great game on both sides. Some great defense and clutch hits all night long. The Thunder were down 11-9 with two outs and runners on second and third with Cooper Schlosser up. With two strikes Cooper lined a shot up the middle for a single to tie the score. Big time clutch hit by Cooper. With the tie, the Thunder is now 9-3-2 in state league play and remain in first place in their division.

The Thunder got a great pitching effort from Blake Hall who went three sharp innings. Daniel Jones would follow with an inning, and Jordan Schommer went 1 2/3 innings. Matt Geldnich finished up the final 1 1/3 retiring all four batters he faced and getting out of a huge bases loaded jam in the 6th. At the plate Daniel Jones had two hits including a shot off the wall in left.

The team gets back at it Friday night with a home game vs. Waterford at 7:45. Hope to see you there. Go Thunder!
