The following day in Kelowna the Braves faced the young upstart Okanagan A's and Looking for a W gave the ball to Joey Siniscalchi who pitched a gem of a game giving up only 1 hit & striking out 8 in 5 innings, the Braves closer then ran into control problems walking 3 batters and after a base hit & errant ball the A's tied the game 3-3, in the extra 8th inning with a Braves runner on 3rd, coach Mo blew a tag up play on a perfect Sac Fly ball hit by Sammy Googs, the Braves hitter's then bailed coach Mo out with some dilegent at bats and scored 3 more to take the lead, & with the Braves closer shutting the door in the bottom of the 8th, the Braves claimed their 1st victory of the year 6-3! In the 2nd game of the double header vs the A's, the Braves coaching staff gave the ball back to opening day starter Seth Injantes who pitched 5 strong innings giving up 1 hit and striking out 9 to claim his 1st victory as the Braves bats came alive scoring 15 runs in 6 innings, including 3 players scoring 3 times each (Luke Petreny, Nico Patella & Austin Smith).
