Congratulations to Dex Herrington and Jeremy Carlisle who were selected to the District 2 All-Star Team for the second year in a row.

The seniors played in the State Games of Mississippi held in Meridian on June 24-28.  Eight All-Star teams from across the state participated in a double-elimination tournament.  Before the games began, players took part in a showcase to give college and professional baseball scouts a chance to see their skills.

Dex hit the first pitch of the first game over the left field wall for a homerun.  Jeremy hit two homeruns (one left-handed and one right-handed) during the State Games.
