| Yesterday's rainout could not be rescheduled today due to a lack of available umpires. Both JV and Varsity will now play the makeup games with Kennedy next Tuesday, April 27th at 3:30 PM. We now turn our attention to the High School Baseball Classic at Safeco Field this Saturday at 4:00 PM. Highline is the home team as we take on 4A Powerhouse, Newport High School. Join us for the pregame festivities at 3:45 and be sure to wear your purple colors. Newport always has a large following of loud, boisterous fans but Highline certainly can measure up. Next week we have four league games on the slate as the regular season winds down. Playoffs begin on Friday, May 7th for the Seamount 3rd and 4th Place finishers and Saturday, May 8th for 1,2 and 5. These are seeding games for the District Tournament which begins Tuesday, May 11th. The Pirates are looking to finish the regular season strong to build momentum for the post season and a ticket to "The Dance." |
