| R.A. Long 11, Sutherlin, Ore. 1 (six innings): The Lumberjacks claimed their third win this week with a mercy-rule victory in their final game at the Seaside tournament on Thursday. Jose Hinijosa got the win on the mound, going four innings with three hits, four strikeouts and no walks. Morgan Baker went 2 for 3 with a double, Spencer Thorsen 2 for 2 with a triple and Matt McGraw 2 for 4 with three RBIs, including the game-ending hit in the sixth inning. RAL (3-2) next travels to Rainier on Tuesday. |
