The Panthers knocked RAL starter Tanner Ruffe out of the game in less than two innings with seven runs, then held off the Jacks from there for a GSHL 2A win Tuesday in Washougal. Ryan Peerboom went 4 1/3 innings in relief of Ruffe, giving up five hits and three runs, and the Jacks got as close as 10-9 after a four-run sixth inning, but could never get over the hump. RAL (4-5 league, 8-7) tallied five hits total, including a Brady Hulings double. The Jacks travel to Ridgefield for a doubleheader on Friday.
