The boys still have a ways to go and getting out there and playing these last two weekends has helped.  Playing this Fall will give these guys a pretty good start to next season.  We will use alot of the local games more as a practice for learning the new situations that come with kid pitch.  Also to get more kids some time on the mound, especially the kids that haven't thrown much.  This last tourney Nolan, Aaron, Tanner, Zane, & Chace saw some action and we will try to continue to get all the boys on the mound this Fall.  A few more practices and games and the Barracuda 10's better watch out!!!

Game 3 vs. Tushka, bats woke up a little bit as we put 5 runs on the board but came up one short in a hard fought 6-5 decision.  Zane took the mound for the first time and did a great job and Chace came in to finish it up for him.

Game 2 vs. Barracuda 10's, lost 6-0, but was probably the best game we played all day, defensively.  Boys looked relaxed and had fun.  Tanner did an awesome job on the mound.  Nolan made a nice play at SS on a rocket hit by Trejan, I think his hand is still sore today!.  Bubba was probably wore out from all the pick off attempts and Peyton got his first hit.

Game 1 vs. Tushka, we couldn't get the bats going and ended up losing 4-1.  Overall not a bad performance.  Nolan and Aaron did an excellent job on the hill.
