Posted Mar 8/12 - Pre-Season Baseball Schedule

That time of the year is upon us once again, and we would like to welcome everyone back for the 2012 edition of Laker Baseball!! The boys and staff have been practicing hard for the upcoming season and we have been fortunate to have some good weather and get outside. Today was the first day the whole team was able to practice together, as the our basketball players were able to join the team. Like I said, the boys have really been focused and are eager to get between the lines and play baseball. We look forward to seeing all our parents and supporters at Laker Field this year.

Today Coach Rexroat passed out a practice schedule to the players to give to their parents. So in case they failed to get that to you, here is a tentative schedule for dates 3/9/12 thru 3/15/12:

3/9 (Friday) - Practice from 9:00-11:30.  Uniforms will be handed out to players who have paid dues. If you havent paid dues, please get in touch with Coach Rexroat.

3/10 (Saturday) - Work day for Dad's at Laker Field beginning at 8:00/a.  Players report to field at 11:00am for scrimmage.

3/11 (Sunday) -  Little League tryouts/Clinic 1:15-3:30. That day players will have reported time to come to cage as assigned by Coach Rexroat.

3/12 (Monday) - Scrimmage at Southwestern. Players report to field @ 3:20. Players will need to eat on their own prior to reporting to field.

3/13 (Tuesday) - Practice at Laker Field 3:00-5:15

3/14 (Wednesday)- Scrimmage between Freshman and 8th grade at Laker Field starting @ 3:00p. JV/ Varsity will have practice at that time as well.

3/15 (Thursday) -  Scrimmage at Mercer County. We will leave after school and stop to eat on the way to scrimmage

** Re: Spring Break, Coach Rexroat told the players that they will be off (no practice or games) on 4/7/12-4/11/12. So if you would like to plan something for Spring Break for those days, the players will be available to go.

Again, we are all looking forward to the beginning of the season. We really believe we have a good group of talented young men that can compete for both District and Region Championships.

If anyone has any questions regarding the schedule, please feel free to contact Coach Rexroat or myself. Thank you for your support. Go Lakers!!!

                                                                                                                      Respectfully,

                                                                                                                       Coach Rob Clark
