The Mighty Laker Baseball team repeated as 16TH District Champions on May 26th with a victory over the Metcalfe Co. Hornets, 12-0. Martin Cross got the victory on the bump, hurling a no hitter.

 In the first round game, the Lakers defeated Clinton County on their own diamond by the score of 10-1. Tyler Robertson was the winning pitcher, pitching a complete game.

 The Lakers will now advance to the 4th Region Tournament in Bowling Green. The games will be played at Nick Denes Field on the campus of WKU. The tournament drawing will be this Saturday to determine who will be the Lakers opening round opponent. First round games of the 4th Region Tournament to begin Monday, May 31st.
