2003: Was a regular started at 1st base for the Chargers in 2003 and also had 9.2 innings on the mound.
2004: Played in 34 games for the Chargers at 1st base and also logged in 17.3 innings on the mound. He had a very big District tournament in which he had the game winning RBI in the Championship game against Ripley. Gabe was named the 2004 District Tournament Most Valuable Player. He also had an outstanding State tournament in which he hit over .500 and was named to the All State Tournament Team.
2005: Played in 37 out of 41 games for the Chargers. Again, he was called on for quality innings on the mound in which he had 31 innings. Gabe?s consistent play at 1st base and his quality pitching landed him on the 1st Team All District.
2006 Expectations: Gabe has been very consistent for the Chargers his entire career by his examples on and off the field. His play at 1st base has been compared with some of the best to play the position at CHS. At the plate, Gabe seems to be getting better each year and we look for him to hit in the middle of our line-up this season. We are looking for Gabe to finish his career strong offensively, defensively and on the mound.
