Jeff Appel spent his amateur career playing 15 years for the Wilmont Cardinals and 2 additional years with the Mayer Blazers. The Outlaws were developed due to Robb Larson and himself sending funny made up baseball jersey designs to each other and then all of a sudden deciding they were going to form an over 35 team.
