Chelsea is a solid 1st baseman. With her height and glove work she is able to snag most errant throws that come her way. She improves with every practice and game. She is one of the youngest players on the team but keeps up with the older girls just fine. Chelsea is still learning the game and packing in knowledge quickly. I look for Chelsea to make a big impact for the team this year. Offensively Chelsea has the potential to be a very good strong hitter. She hits the ball hard with good upper body strength. I have seen a lot of improvement on her hitting already in the off-season and I’m looking forward to see how she does this year. With more experience and confidence I believe she will be an outstanding ball player. Chelsea is a great young lady to coach she works hard at practice and in games and will do whatever it takes to make herself better. Now that she is a year older I feel this year will be a very productive one for her.
