PROFILE

Drafted as an underager in 1994 to the old Kanata Office Services squad, was part of two championship teams, in 1996 and in 1999. Surprisingly, shares the recent (decade?) record for homers in a season with 6. Mark coined the term fatloudguy and likes his afternoon drives around Gatineau in June. In February, 2005 was re-signed by the Timmer for a coaching contract extension through Spring 2008. Although detailed terms were not released, it is rumoured that Mellon took a big pay-cut after the team's 2004 catastrophe.
