Keegan's favorite current and all-time favorite player is Joe Mauer. When he is not on the baseball diamond, he enjoys basketball. Keegan's favorite baseball memory was Cooperstown and when they won Gopher State. He wants to play through high school. Keegan is the younger brother of Devin, who Brad coached in 2008 on the 15AA team that won state. Devin had a 2.05 ERA and 4 saves on the mound while hitting .326 with a homer, 6 doubles and 15 steals without once getting caught.
