The Elmwood Giants Junior Team has a long tradition of fielding players who have success beyond the MJBL during their Junior eligibility. This page provides a way to follow the successes of players the Club expects to see back on the roster in 2011 while they are enjoying academic and playing experiences away from home during our off-season.

For the winter of 2010-2011, the Giants Executive are aware of the following college involvements for our Junior roster players:

• Ty Bouchard (Northwestern College, IA)
• Josiah Chuchill (Itasca Community College, MN)
• Jeff Crassweller (Dakota College at Bottineau, ND)
• Brett Muron (Iowa Lakes Community College. IA)
• Cory Pasichnyk (Williston State College, ND)
• Justin Pasichnyk (Williston State College, ND)
• Shane Seddon (Minot State, ND)
• Bryce Vincent (University of Calgary, AB)

And of course, as recently as January 16, we learned that Cody Hunter and Wes Pomeransky have become the first two roster players right here at home for the brand new University of Winnipeg Baseball program set to start play in 2012. They will be coached by, among others, our own Mike Krykewich!
