Braves beat host Poynette, 10-6 to open 2017

The Monona Braves beat host Poynette, 10-6 to open up the 2017 HTL Eastern Section schedule on Sunday, 5/7.  

Monona was led by Beau Goff (2 for 5) with 2 HR, Taylor Carlson (5 for 5) and Louie Joseph (3 for 3).  The Braves collected 14 hits and scored 10 runs in their first appearance of the season, staring off the year with a strong performance. 

The Braves host Marshall next Sunday, 5/14, on Mother's Day.  First pitch is at 1:00pm at Murphy-Anthony Field, Ahuska Park, Monona.
