The arm woes of the Hampton Bulldog Baseball pitching staff continue, as freshman RHP, Conor Burleson strained his right tricep Tuesday evening at the Sullivan North Raiders while making a throw to 1B from his 3B position. Conor will not participate in any physical baseball activity for at least a week. This is a tough blow for our ball club, but especially for Conor, as he had been making progress toward certain objectives we were working toward with him.
Bulldog Baseball expects sophomore RHP, Josh Owens (elbow) to throw off the mound soon. Getting Mr. Owens back would be a huge boost for our battered pitching staff.
Junior LHP and staff ace, Dalton Rouse (shoulder) has yet to resume throwing. Rouse, who won five games in 2018, with 80+ strike outs in 50+ innings is as important to our ball club as any high school pitcher in our area is to their ball club.
