Road Trip to South Greene

Our four games in four days week continues, as our Bulldogs take a road trip to South Greene High School to compete with the Rebels.  I am sure everyone associated with Hampton Bulldog Baseball feels we let one slip away on Opening Day, so we are excited to compete with the Rebels again.  Freshman, Morgan Lyons, on six days rest (he has thrown a bullpen since pitching vs. Avery County last Thursday) will take the ball for the road team.  We attempted to conserve Morgan's strength and energy by not catching him in the second game of our doubleheader on Tuesady vs. Cloudland.  A high school baseball season is tiring, a ball club plays a lot of games in a short window of time.  We hope to see you at the ballpark with us!
