Braves lose one, win one over the holiday weekend

Monona dropped one to Rio, 9-4 on the 4th of July, then bounced back and beat visiting Poynette, 10-6 on Sunday, 7/7.

The Braves play two again this coming weekend, travelling to Cottage Grove on Friday, 7/12 for an 8:00pm start and then to Montello on Sunday, 7/14 for a 1:00pm start.  Monona is now 6-3 in the Eastern Section and sitting in second place with less than a month of the regular season left to go.

Come out to Cottage Grove on Friday night to watch the rivals battle under the lights.
