North Greene Sweeps Series Convincingly!

We said Monday, April 5 was a loss in a good high school baseball game at the North Greene Huskies, one if you attended as just a fan, you would have been attending an enjoyable game.  Tuesday, April 6 was not a good high school baseball game for Hampton.  North Greene has a good, senior packed baseball team.  They have quality pitching depth, experience, better hitters than they have had in previous years, and have a winning tradition.  Their being a good ball club and our playing poorly made for an ugly game.  Morgan Lyons did stay hot with a base knock up the middle and Josh Owens, in what was hopefully a sign of good things to come, had a solid base knock and drew a walk.
