Game 2 against University High at Thomas Stadium Today

First pitch is at 7:00 tonight at Thomas Stadium, home of the ETSU Bucs.  Josh Whitson will take the ball for the visiting Bulldogs.  On Monday night the home team did not play terrible baseball.  University High is a good team who puts the ball in play and puts pressure on a defense.  Sophomore, Brody Hicks made his first career conference Varsity start and pitched better than his final numbers indicate.  His performance is an exciting indicator for his future.  McKinley Kuhn and Josh Owens had the lone Bulldog base hits off of University High's highly touted left handed pitcher.  Kuhn is up to a solid .250 on the season.  McKinley has worked hard on his swing and has really grinded his way to a solid offensive season.  Owens is 12 for his last 13, as hot as anyone on any level.
