*Game one featured a solid 64 pitch effort from junior, Morgan Lyons in only his second start of the 2021 season. Lyons showed a litte more zip on his fastball and says his arm felt good, which is a good sign for Bulldog Baseball. It was Morgan's first career win on the mound after pitching in tough luck as a 2019 freshman.
*Rookie, Chance Point had five stolen bases on the day to bring his season total up to 28 in 31 attempts.
*Red hot, Josh Owens collected three RBI on the day to run his season total into double digits.
*Nolan Parker Henry had four hits, four RBI, and two stolen bases on the day.
*McKinley Kuhn had three hits on the day and three RBI. The big first baseman has worked his batting average up over .260 on the year. Kuhn also now has 20 RBI on the season!
*Conor Jones had three hits on the day, in his first ever game hitting in the number three slot in the batting order.
*Caleb Royston had two big hits and three big RBI on the day, a much needed performance for the tough junior.
*Josh Whitson threw three shutout innings of relief work in the second game, not allowing a Hancock Indian hit.
*Junior, Seth Hughes recorded his first base knock of the season, a sharp single off the bench for the home ball club.
*Collin Morgan hit a towering double that burned the Indian centerfielder and collected Morgan two RBI in a big spot in the first game.
*The home team went deeper into the playbook, attempting a suicide squeeze, a "leave early" 1st and 3rd play, and a double steal.
*After sluggish, frustrating start, it ended up being a positive day for Hampton Baseball.
