Hard To Win!

When an opposing high school baseball team only has to collect 21 outs to win a baseball game, and they record 16 of those outs via the strikeout, it's tough to win because the defense does not have to make plays.  On a frigid Monday night on a grass infield at Mary Hughes School, this was the case for our Bulldogs in an 8-3 loss.  Chance Point returned from making a clutch shot in the corner in the State Tournament Champsionship game, to doing what he has done since 2021, and that is get hits and steal bases.  The junior superstar had two base knocks in his 2023 debut and stole 3 bags!  The visiting Bulldogs had opportunities against a big, physical, much improved FCA Flames ball club, but could not take advantage of the opportunities, and the Flames did take advantge of opportunities.  

The Baseball Bulldogs are at home on Tuesday, March 21st, as we host Bethel Christian Academy in a two 5 inning game doubleheader.  First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 at Scotty Bunton Field.
