Dear Business Owner:

As we all know, baseball is the national past time! And ball players of all ages have dreams of someday playing professional baseball. With those aspirations in mind, many collegiate student-athletes are always seeking out summer baseball teams to further develop their baseball skills. 

One of those teams is The Los Angeles Thrashers, which competes in the Southern California Collegiate Baseball Association (SCCBL). The team is generally composed of local 18-21 year-old student-athletes who come home for the summer after playing college baseball throughout the country. Past year�s Thrasher�s team features many ball players from local colleges and universities including  Cerritos College; Chaffey College; Drew University; Glendale CC; LA Harbor College; LA Pierce CC; Long Beach City College; Los Angeles Mission CC; Luna Community College, SD; Moorpark College; West LA College; Mt. San Antonio College; Occidental College; Pasadena City College; San Bernandion Valley State; Sonoma State Univeristy; West Virgina Tech; Whittier College and UC San Diego .

The Thrashers allow these students-athletes to further hone their baseball skills for the upcoming collegiate season while spending time with and receiving the emotional support of their family and friends during the summer. However, it takes about $20,000 to properly operate a collegiate summer baseball team. Funding is needed to pay for uniforms, game balls, umpire fees, facility rentals and baseball equipment.

Additionally there are league wide plans to broadcast and up-load balls games to the internet.

The only way that the Thrashers can pay for the upcoming season is to seek the generous financial support of local business people and baseball fans like you! Sponsorship opportunities start as low as $25. (See attached sheet for other sponsorship levels).
