MISSION
The Baton Rouge Heat semi-pro women's basketball club is committed to reaching out to the community, fans, and sponsors; while bringing the excitement of women's semi-professional basketball to Baton Rouge, La. The Baton Rouge Heat club promise to search and find the best local and state players in order to continue the true respect and professionalism for the game of basketball within the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL).

The owners, administration, staff, and its affiliates are dedicated to all the players, and their careers, as well as their goals of playing in the WNBA or NWBL. Most importantly, this organization wants our players and sponsors to feel that they are part of Baton Rouge Heat family.

VISION
As part of our commitment, we intent to provide basketball skill camps for youth, participation in school assemblies, leadership, mentorship workshops, and seminars for “The Greater Baton Rouge Area.” We plan to act as mentors to the youth in the community. Through these programs we hope to achieve academic improvement, job skill awareness, drug prevention and crisis/conflict resolution.
