Cobra tryouts scheduled for Saturday, September 10th have been postponed due to rain. Tryouts are rescheduled for Sunday, September 18th. 12U will be at 2:00 and 14U will be at 3:30. They will still be held at the Beaverdale back softball field. All are welcome to tryout! |

| Congratulations to the 2011 Cobras for an outstanding season! We finished our last tournament by beating Hyndman for the championship at the Hollidaysburg Back to School Bash. This season we won 3 tournaments, placed second in two, third in one, and had a good showing in another. Overall, we had a record of 29 wins and 10 losses. Way to go girls and coaches!!! |

| Congratulations to the Cobras for winning the Mahanoy City Tournament last weekend! We went 2 and 1 on Saturday losing to the Valley Regional Warriors and beating Rampage and Pottsville. After being seeded number 2 on Sunday, we beat Demmergraphics and Pottsville to put us in the championship game. We beat PA Fusion to win the tournament! Way to go girls! We are not only proud of you for winning the championship, but also proud of the sportsmanship you showed. We were told by many teams that the Cobras are a "class act". Great job! |

| Congratulations to the Cambria County Cobras for winning the Hollidaysburg Classic tournament! After suffering a tough loss to the Mt. Union Lady Trojans on Friday night, the girls came back on Saturday to beat the Cental PA Eagles and Davis Brothers. We entered Sunday play seeded number 2. On Sunday we beat the Central PA Eagles in our first game. This put us in the championship game against the undefeated Mt. Union Lady Trojans. We defeated the Trojans for our first tournament championship! Congratulations again to the Cobras for all their hard work and never-give-up attitudes this past weekend! |

| Congratulations to the girls for playing a great tournament this past weekend in Ebensburg. We had a 3 and 1 record on Saturday winning games against Conemaugh Valley, Keystone Stingers, and the Lady Pirates. We lost a tight game to the Steel City Rebels. We were seeded 3rd for Sunday. On Sunday we lost to the Keystone Stingers which gave us an overall record of 3 and 2 for our first tournament. We are extremely proud of the girls for their hard work and good sportsmanship! |
