| The 2011 Crusaders started the 2011 season with a strong pitching performance from Junior Shane Simpkins. Simpkins gave up 1 hit in 5 2/3 innings. He also struck out 11. The Crusaders were led offensively by senior Dan Santiago (2-4), Josh Donofry 2 RBi's and Anthony Snover who had a 2 RBI triple to put the game out of reach. Junior Mike Martinsky also contributed 3 RBI's in the win against Jim Thorpe. The Crusaders will return to action against Moravian Academy on Tuesday at Lou Cecala Field. |
