rockets vs. rival dirty birds again its portland 5-1 thurs nite at bellmont hs. rockets score 2 in the 6th , 3 in the 7th and knock out any threat decatur has on offense with pitching and defense.

cold, drizzly, wind rocket dan bollenbacher was all about fear the beard, at 6'5"" and with full black beard, the grizzly berne bear was dominate, 5 inn just 2 base runners one walk, one hit,, dan faced one over the min. in 5.  bollenbacher got the win and has now pitched 23 inn, 10 hits 4 bb and 27 ks  very consisent. 

teammate devin wilburn finished up, not as sharp as last outing but 4 inn and 1 runscored on 4 hits.

rockets pretty much won this game with pitching defense, and baserunning----several rockets on base unnerved the birds into throwing errrors.  also 4 stolen bases, 2 double plays. 

rockets had just 7 hits and 11 strikeouts 2 hits by ben smith  --rbi walk to geoff bowers in the 6th , a ground out by nate clem, then dalton tinsely had an rbi single to  right,

rockets now 11-5 on season and 9-2 in league travel to van wert fri  smiley park at 7pm  eathan daggett starter
