June 30,2016  rockets lose to kekionga 14-3

Good morning baseball fans, it’s a beautiful day in Portland.and happy last day of  June 30, 2016 portland rockets played wood bat baseball in ft wayne last evening at Indiana tech, 9 excruciating innings, losing to kekionga 14-13.

But it went to the very last out, rockets rally –a clutch single by chandler ingle—I like that rhyme, with 2 out in the 9^th plated one run but brett funk just could not make it home safely before the strong outfield throw gunned him down trying to score the tying run,,,funk a high school senior from adams central well,

I guess you could say he had larcency in his heart, but his feet were honest,  good try young man, we love ya in Portland.

This was a game you would have had to see to believe but I doubt that you would really want to ,  true the rockets hit 4 home runs, 2 by Dalton tinsley , one each by jagen millspaugh and zach tanner, had 18 hits---3 each by tinsley, tanner and millspaugh, 2 by waters and colin Affolder, and club rallied down 14-5 in the 6^th to make it a one run game. But really dude?! Rockets pitchers walked 12 batters, 12 walks, and rocket fielders had 7 errors and many more misplays,  certainly a frustrating evening, we even tossed out one of our own players so the umpire wouldn’t have to,,,,lets continue the rocket rally into july,

Rockets open the Carrington july 4^th tournament sat. 11 am vs. the Mishawaka brewers,  we just split with them last weekend.

Then the rockets will either play sat. nite should we get beat, or Sunday at 11 am if we win.

Rockets lose despite dropping home run bombs on Anthony ave. 4 home runs in a game, been a while probably since the luce boys, deckman, moorman and company

Heres some coaching advice, catch the ball, throw the ball and to our pitchers, if you get it in , we’ll get em out
