MOUNT VERNON — Cody London threw a five-inning no-hitter to lead the Mount Vernon/Woonsocket/Sanborn Central high school baseball team to an 11-0 win over Wagner/Avon on Thursday night.

London, who also went 2-for-2 with an RBI at the plate, struck out 12 and walked three in his five innings of work on the mound.

Brian Vermeulen, Nate Zens, Deric Denning and Kyle Gerlach each had two hits for the Outlaws, who won the junior varsity game 9-8.

The Outlaws host Dakota Valley on Saturday in Mount Vernon. The JV game will start at 5 p.m. with the varsity to follow.
