| It took extra innings, but the St. Albert Tigers are the 2009 Red Deer Stags tournemnt winners, defeating the Fort Saskatchewan Athletics 7-6. With the score deadlocked at 4-4, the Athletics posted 2 runs in the top of the 8th inning. The Tigers roared back with 3 of their own in the bottom of the 8th to claim the championship. |
