| In spite of the showers, the Senators completed a doubleheader at Stayton High School with two wins. River Herber and Lane Biggs dominated the Royals (Barlow) 1-0 in game one. Zach Bearden's double scored River Herber with the only run of the game in the 2nd inning. There were several rain delays, but by time the second game was ready to start, the sun came out and blue skies appeared. The Senators won the nightcap 7-1. Austyne Ozuna, Avary Nelson and Zach Bearden had everything going. A few timely hits from Kevin Scwabauer (two), Brad Cock, Austyne Ozuna and Levi Kunkel contributed to the sweep. |
