St. Albert Tigers are pleased to announce the 2011 season
award winners. The awards were presented at the Tigers Association Annual General Meeting in November.
The Most Valuable Player is awarded annually to the player whose on-field contribution throughout the season has had the greatest impact on team dynamics and success. The 2011 MVP is Craig Tomas. The Pitcher of the Year is presented annually to the pitcher that has been the most consistent performer, as voted by his peers. The 2011 Pitcher of the Year is Sean Maguire. The Rookie of the Year recognizes the first year Tiger that has contributed the most to team success. The 2011 Rookie of the Year is Kyle Hesse. The Hardman Award is presented annually to the person who is always there, doing whatever he can for the team. The individual goes above and beyond what is expected of team members. The 2011 winners are Kevin Hardman and Derek Dallorto.
