EQUALITY DRAFT AND TRY-OUTS
In alignment with the Babe Ruth League mission statement of sportsmanship and fair play, the 2013 Season will begin using an equal player selection draft, like we used last year. All players must tryout and will be placed on new teams regardless of past team experience. Teams will be formed in interest of creating equally competitive teams in which all players are afforded the opportunity to play and be successful. Try-outs will be held on:
March 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th.
13-year-olds at 10 a.m. 14 and 15-year-olds at 11:30 a.m.
The Draft will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2013, immediately following the completion of try-outs.
The Equality Draft was held on Sunday, March 10th. Team rosters, with Manager's information, has been posted under "Rosters" on the left hand side of this page. Simply click on "Rosters". Manager's will be getting in touch with their teams in the coming days. Manager's have been provided with player contact information. Good luck to all players and teams!
