The team has released Stickney from their high school baseball co-op that consist of Mt. Vernon, Hanson and Ethan, so that they could form a new co-op team with Corsica, whom they have co-oped with for all sports. In replacement, two new schools have joined the co-op for the 2010 season. They are Woonsocket and Springs. The offical new co-op name will be SMVHEW (Springs-Mt. Vernon-Hanson-Ethan-Woonsocket).

In addition, the team has dropped the Knights mascot, which was the co-op name between Stickney and Mt. Vernon.  A new mascot for SMVHEW will be unvield for the 2010 season.
