Congrats on a good fall season. We finished with a win and a loss.   I liked that we did not quit and eventually broke up the no hitter then the shutout.   The first pitcher was over 18 and throwing heat.   We were one of the youngest teams in our division and played our schedule tough.

We are now on break until January. For those who were with us the whole way this summer the Thunder played over 70 games.  Next practice will be after the New Years but we will have a fund raiser before then selling squares for the Michigan bowl game.    Perhaps even a Lions super bowl square if they get there.  ( I know I am dreaming).   The big fund raiser will be our March Madness squares.   Also the team is looking for business sponsors and Gary will be putting out that information shortly.    I know it is a lot of work but this is what keeps us half the price of a lot of other teams. We are still firming up practice facilities for the spring.   A reminder that Gary has put out a payment schedule and the first payment of 150 is due 1st November. If this presents an issue please contact him and make payment arrangements.  At this time we are carying the 9 players from the fall team plus invites have been given to Max and Mike who played summer ball to return next summer.

I would like to thanks all the parents who have stepped up to help us out this season without your help this team would not be what it is. We will be needing it again next year with us hosting 3 of our own tourneys on top of operating a concession stand.  Brenda with the pictures and Mariana with the stats have been an awesome help.
