PARKSTON - Things just didn't go the Outlaws way Thursday, April 8 versus Division rival, the Parkston Trojans, as 3 crucial errors were made and only 5 scattered hits were managed. Of the two, the 3 errors proved most costly, as 3 unearned runs were plated on those errors. The scored ended at 5-3 in favor of the Trojans.

The Outlaws junior varsity team defeated Parkston's junior varsity by a score of 13-0, running their record to 2-1.
Upcoming Games and Changes
The Outlaws are in action tomorrow night (Friday, April 9) when they travel to Wagner to take on Wagner/Avon. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 pm with the JV game first, followed by the varsity game.
Due to ACT testing and a track meet, Saturday, April 10 game at Miller has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
On Sunday, April 11, the Outlaws will travel to Vermillion to take on the Tananers. Starting at 2:00 pm, the varsity team will play a doubleheader first, with the JV game to follow.
The Outlaws will end their 5 games in 5 days when they travel to Lake Andes to play Andes Central/Marty. The JV game will be played first at 6:00 pm, followed by the varsity game. |
