WAGNER - After a disappointing loss to the Parkston Trojans on Thursday, the Outlaws quickly got back on the winning track by defeating Wagner/Avon, 10-2. The Outlaws collected 16 hits and played solid defense behind starting pitcher, Nate Zens, who picked up his first win of the season on the mound. Helping his own cause at the plate, Zens, was also one of the leading hitters for the Outlaws, going 2-4 with two doubles and two RBI's.

The Outlaws junior varsity team defeated Wagner/Avon by a score of 14-2, running their record to 3-1. Earning the victory on the mound was starting pitcher, Jake Sonne. Upcoming Games and Changes
Due to ACT testing and a track meet, Saturday, April 10 game at Miller has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
On Sunday, April 11, the Outlaws will travel to Vermillion to take on the Tananers. The varsity team will play a doubleheader starting at 2:00 pm, with the JV game to follow.
The Outlaws will end their 5 games in 5 days when they travel to Lake Andes to play Andes Central/Marty. The JV game will be played first at 6:00 pm, followed by the varsity game. |
