First Game Notes - Thunder beats Cardinals 8 - 1

MVPs: Alex started hitting streak bottom of 2; whole side continued with hits, walks, RBIs, including Adam F's double for 2 RBIs and Max's double for 1 RBI to answer, and also RBIs by Brandon and Ben. Good fielding by all players including Bob, Derek, Adam O'. Grant, Adam F, and Joe came through with outstanding pitching. What a team!!

Second Game Notes - Thunder beats Cardinals 12 - 6

MVPs: 1) Coach Tim gave Brandon MVP "Play of the Day" for the sliding, muddy catch in right field to get the first out of the 4th inning - showing his willingness to "give up the body" for the team effort! 2) MVP Hitter to Joe, for the first Home Run of the season - nice hitting Joe! Every player had hits and many with RBIs. Derek pitched the entire game for the win. Great team effort to get the season started on the right track!!

Coach Mariana - I wanted to say what a great group of young men we have on this team; very sportsman-like behavior, respectful, and all show a deep appreciation of baseball. Good job parents:)
