Things were looking good for Coors Light early in Friday’s game, as they jumped out to a 10-2 lead over rival Emma’s after two frames.  However, things quickly turned; as the opposition scored 22 runs in a record setting 4^th.  The 45 minute long inning showcased many of Coors Light’s defensive weaknesses:  poor fielding, lack of hustle, errant throws, and walks (with virtually everyone contributing).  In the end, the beat down was called after 5; as Coors Light slid to 4-3 on the year.

Jim Antonetti (a perfect 4-4 with 4 extra base hits including HR#4; knocking in 5) was the lone offensive star in a game that Coors Light would like to soon forget.

Captain Joe Voci (2-3) fell below .500 on the season, as his shorthanded defense (many of whom played out of position) let him down once again.

Coors Light takes on the always tough Lincoln Club (6-2), Wednesday @6:45.  After Wednesday’s tilt, the schedule eases up; as Coors Light will face 7 consecutive B teams as June finishes up.
