Coors Light finished out the first half of the 2011 season 9-5 and a game up in first place, as they continued their pursuit of their third BMSL B league championship (’02, ’09).

As for the game on Wednesday, Coors Light dropped one to Emma’s 20-17; in a game that wasn’t as close as the score would indicate.  Coors Light’s offense was inconsistent and their defense subpar, as the team continued to struggle against A division foes (1-4).

The offense, as mentioned, was inconsistent; as the team posted 13 of their runs in just three innings (and only four over the other four innings).

Perkins (5-1) suffered his first defeat of the year on the mound, as the Coors Light defense reverted to their old form.

On the positive, the team put together their second straight quality hang; highlighted by the consumption of local fare.

Without their captain, Coors Light (A) faces 2^nd place The Hive (a team Coors has handled twice already) on Wednesday @8:45 in a battle for division supremacy.
