Coors Light fell to second place Fast Lane for the fourth time this season, 18-2.  The crushing defeat could very easily be described as the team’s worst performance all year.  Once again the team utilized awful defense, combined with an inept offense (tied for a season low in hits) to easily secure their 14^th loss on the year (against 7 wins).

Buff Robillard (2-2, 2B), Jim Antonetti (1-2, R, team leading 5^th HR, 2 RBI), and Joe Nichols (1-2, R, 3B) led the seven hit attack for Coors Light.  A pitiful performance to say the least, as the team had as many double plays (2) as they did runs (2) during the game.  Coors Light achieved a moral victory when John Powers stepped to the plate in the fifth, as it assured everyone in the line up got at least two plate appearances.

Voci (2-8) took the loss on the hill, as the defense played its worst game of the year; making at least 20 errors on the night.

Coors Light Hall of Famer MONGO and veteran Ryan Ostiguy joined the post game festivities, which lasted about twice as long as the game did.     

Coors Light next faces fourth place Emma’s (10-9) Thursday @6:45; a winnable game.
