It appeared Coors Light was headed for their 8^th win of the season, as solid overall play had the team ahead 6-0 early and up 8-5 midway through Monday Night’s contest.  However, things quickly unraveled for the team as the opposition compiled a crippling 14 run 4^th inning which essentially ended any chance of a Coors Light victory.  Half of the team’s 16 defeats have now been way of the slaughter rule, including the 23-8 drubbing Monday Night.  The team is now reeling, having dropped 7 of their last 8.

AJ Andrews (3-3, R), Jim Antonetti (3-3, 3 RBI), Captain Joe Voci (2-3, 2 RBI), and Steve Perkins (2-3, 2 R, RBI) secured 10 of the team’s 14 hits.  The remainder of the line up was relatively silent though, only managing 4 hits in 16 ABs. 

Aging veteran Voci (2-10) took another loss on the hill, as the dog days of July continued to debilitate his 39 yr old body.  To this point, Voci has resisted placing himself of the DL (back, shoulder), but any further injuries may force management to shut him down for the year. 

Smokey Wiener once again led a defense that played fairly well, but could only do so much against a sold hitting DeGrace team.
