Coors Light lost its 10^th straight Wednesday Night, as they were soundly defeated by DeGrace (20-9) 24-4 (9^th slaughter loss).  The defeat sent Coors Light’s record further south (7-22), as they continued to build on their worst season in over a decade.

The Coors Light offense was virtually shutdown, as they could only collect 10 hits on the night.  Lead off hitter Smokey Wiener (2-3, R) and Bobby McCarthy (2-2) were the only ones to attain multiple hit nights, as the majority of the line up only stepped to the plate twice.

The one highlight of the night was Buff Robillard’s two base on balls, which sent his season total to an amazing 17; shattering the previous mark (15 in ’08) and wiping Wiener’s previously thought unbreakable mark from the books.

Starter Steve “DJ Cowboy Steve” Perkins dropped to 1-7 on the season, as the defense could only do so much against the potent opposition bats.  AJ Andrews once again saw some relief action and gave up 12 over the final three innings.

Gratefully, Coors Light’s season finale will be against last place TPG (4-25) Monday Night @8:45; barring any aerial mosquito spraying.  This will be the last chance for individuals to affect their grade on the highly anticipated and circulated season ending report card (Powers, you better get a hit Monday).
