Northwest Magic is currently seeking adult female players and staff for the 2011 WBCBL Season. We are also looking for an official team sponsor. Player Profile Players must be ages 20 and up without any remaining college eligibility Aspiring basketball players, Former college players; former professional players Current international players Women who aspire to play internationally Player Registration Complete the Player Interest Form (located online) and submit it via email or mail   Season Specifics May 14 Season Start May - July play 5 to 10 games Expert training and coaching Magic staff are currently working to secure sponsorships to offset players' expenses (e.g., travel costs, gym fees, and training expenses). Player Benefits Job and housing placement assistance, if needed Exposure to WNBA Reps, Pro Registered Agents, International Pro Teams and Scouts On-staff legal council to advise and negotiate contracts for players aiming to play internationally General Manager Vanessa McClendon has had a life-long commitment to basketball; she played college basketball at the University of Oregon and professionally in Spain, Australia, and Germany. Vanessa is the director of Northwest Magic Girls Basketball, and serves on the Board of Directors for adidas Grassroots programs, and as a national recruiter for SheCanPlay.org., a national non-profit scouting service.
