CITIES GAME RESULTS

GAME 1:   The boys put forth a valiant effort for 8:30am with the challenges of pitcher preservation and facing the best of what the Maples had to offer and went the distance.   Many bright sides during the game.  Brenton threw a complete pitch count game (106 pitches) and Wesley who pitched only once before took to the mound to finish an inning and complete the next (6 pitches - 3 outs, 11 pitches in total!).   Great game guys.

GAME 2:  Seems the day took its' toll on the team as we failed to rally at any time during this one.   Also went the distance but we kinda handed this one to them.   The day was hot, the bats were cold and the boys were just wanting this day to end.  

GAME 3:  Well, we were having a tough go of it in the beginning (10 - 3 Red River after 4) but our bats woke up and we rallied to tie at the 6th top of the sixth (12-12) only to return a 5 run inning in the bottom of the inning and ended up with a 17-15 score.   Tyler pitched a great game keeping us right in it through the first 5 innings (way to go Ty!).

GAME 4:  With a stronge effort from Chris, Landon and Mike we finally chalked up a win against Fort Garry to end the season.  The boys played through plenty of adversity throughout these playoffs and we left it on the field, no mercies, and some exciting baseball for the fans to watch.  Hope you all had fun, and hopefully we'll see you next year.
