Provincials Tournament Weekend - July 11-13- Here is our draw:

Friday 10:00 a.m. vs. View Royal - Diamond #2 - won 3-1

Friday 4:00 p.m. vs. Fleetwood Force - Diamond #3 - lost 8-9

Saturday 8:00 a.m. vs. Vancouver Wildcats - Diamond #1 - won 12-7

Saturday 12:00 p.m. vs. Mission Pride - Diamond #3 - won 4-3

 

Diamonds go 3-1 in the round robin and end up Top 6 in the province!! Head off to the playoffs.

 

Playoffs - double knockout!

Saturday 4:30pm Vs Mission Pride - Diamond #2 - lost 7-5

Sunday 8:30am Vs TBA

 Diamonds confirmed for the Provincials in Port Alberni - July 11-13.  Teams that have already qualified for the provincial tournament are:

Kelowna Heat
North Langley Lightning
Mission Pride
South Delta Invaders 92
South Delta Invaders 93
Ridge Meadows Rage 92
PoCo Ravens 93

**There will also be two Victoria teams, and two from Surrey/Fleetwood TBA.

Canadian Western Championships, Airdrie, Alberta - August 1-4.  Please keep this weekend open - should the Diamonds place in the Top 2 of the provincials, we will be eligible for this tournament.  Letter of intent is being sent to organizers.

 Team Accomplishments - 2008

North Delta Tournament, April 26/27 - made it to the playdowns

Newton Tournament, May 10/11 - 4th place overall!

Kelowna Tournament, May 24/25 - made it to the playdowns

Ladner Tournament, May 31/June - 3rd place overall!

Whalley Tournament, June 14/15 - 4th place overall - in the medal round again!!
